        Weather system's paths....

        This is why there is black, thin black, moist dark brown, dark brown and brown soil zones on the Prairies, the more wooded zones are likely a whole different story.

        Moisture patterns and vegetative growth made our soils what they are today, I accept what we have, know and understand it's limitations. Then there is the odd anomaly(or period of one) thrown into the long term average.
