One big difference, those were both naturally caused. Venezuela,s problems are internal politics, did we not just create a new ministry to deal with foreign governments interfering in our political system and now we go and do it ourselves?, seems kinda hypocritical to me. You keep giving millions away and it will be like the old nursery rhyme " and when she went there, the cupboard was bare.", and then when a disaster strikes again in this country there will be no money to help.

We can take care of first nations water, housing, health care and provide homes for every Canadian and help support refugees as well. The only thing missing is the political will.

Does Andrew Scheer have a plan to provide homes and clean water for all Canadians? I don't think he even talks about it. It is not a priority for Conservatives who want lower taxes and smaller government programs.
