One big difference, those were both naturally caused. Venezuela,s problems are internal politics, did we not just create a new ministry to deal with foreign governments interfering in our political system and now we go and do it ourselves?, seems kinda hypocritical to me. You keep giving millions away and it will be like the old nursery rhyme " and when she went there, the cupboard was bare.", and then when a disaster strikes again in this country there will be no money to help.

Does Andrew Scheer have a plan to provide homes and clean water for all Canadians? I don't think he even talks about it. It is not a priority for Conservatives who want lower taxes and smaller government programs.

Why the hell should he donate his money to the homeless. Likely pays his share of taxes; probably donates to causes he feels are important. How many folks on the taxpayers dime are working outside today or are their welfare checks not direct deposited. Harper tried to make them accountable with the massive money they already receive and was shut down . The money is already there .
Trudeau has done nothing financially for them either but he had cried fake tears .
