    Kansas "winter" wheat.

How far south has this cold cold arctic air extended south? It has been miserably cold here and I haven't heard a peep about winter kill in Kansas. Although Friday saw nice gains Minni-Wheat looks up as of now. Was there a freeze event down there?

What's the significance(if there is one) when it opens at the previous day's close(and that day saw a good gain) and only trades higher than the opening bid(yet closes lower than that days high). How many days would that have to happen in a row to point towards a rally?

we have had the coldest most miserable winter i can recall
        -32 here this morning
if its not 30-40 below , the wind is howling or its snowing, we have had more wind than ever before . fence lines have 8 ft of snow in them
hard to believe its caused by global warming, lol
there are some on here that believe that , can you f@#king believe sheeple being that simple???

The weather is odd but it hasn't been the worst winter here ....the days are getting longer ...eventually the cold will break....out of the wind with sun is a pleasant day....

Although at minus 30 at the end of February is odd...the records will show something different ....

As for the winter wheat ...I think it depends on if it had broke dormancy.....

Maybe it will thin out the wood tick and deer population. There’s got to be some good from it all.

Bucket, I think Canadaian Prairie winter cereals can be damaged before breaking dormancy if there is a lack of snow cover with cold cold conditions, but our conditions can be brutal compared to those in Kansas.

Way Too early for substantial damage...[will tiller out and come back nicely] the Winter wheat needs to be headed out and blooming... for big losses... like at the end of April...

But let's not ignore the fact that this is the lowest winter wheat seeding acres in a very long time.....

What caused the recent bump in Minniwheat although current(8:40 a.m.) exchange is mixed but July not down hard and March up about the same amount.

                          Don't look now......9:10

This likely means nothing but - Phoenix is the coldest that's ever been recorded. Ever.

47F, previous record low was 54 in 1897.

But like I said, it likely means nothing, LOL!
