Are we still complaining about winter a few short years after our left wing media declared it a thing of the past?

I hadn't intended to start a discussion about the quality of our school system, just introduce some humour into the weather we are enduring, and do so at the expense of some people who must be very frustrated with mother natures refusal to adhere to their wishful thinking.

But I do know that the education system(especially Universities), along with most modern children's movies, shows, books etc. do spend a disproportionate amount of time pushing this issue, which can only come at the expense of other vital educational opportunities.

I have no doubt that a retraction and apology will be forthcoming shortly, as the media always does when a climate projection fails miserably...

Stuff like this is exactly why I distrust most media and “experts” who continue to spout off nonsense .

I can't speak to the home school curriculum, but in regular school, is creeps into every course, regardless of relevancy. It should of course be taught in literature class, along with all the other fictional works of art, it does have a lot of value as an educational tool, if you analyse it rationally.
I was homeschooled through a rigorous and strict program for gifted kids.

            So 15 years ago now...

We had a lecture and then a debate (online learning before it was cool) about the next big thing to distribute wealth.

Climate change get. We discussed it, how it would be made nuts by media and politicians... Future taxes... All of it.

As well as the folley of Keynesian capitalism.

            And many other things.

            Our kids will be homeschooled.

......and you chose "Primary" Ag production????

I sarcastically said afew times I don't know why smart people farm! NOT THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE INTELLIGENT TO FARM.....YOU SHOULD JUST "KNOW" BETTER! AND BEING YOUR OWN BOSS THING IS PURE BULLSHIT, THERE ARE MANY MANY OTHER VOCATIONS WHERE YOU CAN BE YOUR OWN BOSS....DON'T BE A "FARMAHOLIC"....kinda addicted to farming and knowing it affects you and your family physically, mentally, emotionally, socially, financially, negatively but can't or won't quit.
