Notley is done unless she can magically turn the economy around but that is out of her control. The rail car plan looks like an act of desperation not well thought out. Kenney has his skeletons and I’m not a fan but he has charisma and spunk. He’s a fighter. Too bad Sheer didn’t have some of that. Kenney will eat Notley in a debate.
Sure is amazing how you can see what you want to see,you can forget all the screwups the cons caused ,we needed a change and the nds were picked, what does that tell you about the cons, beat by an inferior party.
Notley done unless she turns the economy around whitch is out of her control I thought she screwed the world economy (kind of an oxymorin wouldt you say). gOD HELP US ALL IF KENNEY GETS IN that man could make mudaro look like a boy scout. Carisma like a side show barker.slippery than a greased pig.
Yes he could eat her in a debate because he dont have a platform other than i realy want the job,all he does is point fingers at the nds,we can all see the problems but who has the solutions??
Sure hope to see the crying towels come out after the election.

Yes the cons screwed up bad. Bigger problem was they crowded the centre towards the end that they made the liberals irrelevant and what alternative did the people have? I agree with a lot of what you’re saying here. Kenney needs some policy and a framework for his vision whatever that is. I doubt he’s Maduro more so than Trudeau is Castro. It’s all a matter of a persons perspective where they sit politically. And I was purposely making an oxymoron for effect.

Horse I alway find it amazing how people blame the former PC governments for all our problems in Alberta. Former Premier Jim Prentiss had it right when he said Albertan's should look in the mirror. More than one opinion poll shows Albertan's want 3 things, no reduction in services, no increase in taxes and a balanced budget. Our present NDP government has increased spending since being elected, has increased both personal and corporate tax rates, brought in a carbon tax and continues to run the largest yearly deficits in Alberta's history. What Albertan's want and what the NDP government is doing appear at odds. Having said that what Albertan's want isn't realistic or doable either, it is one hell of a mess imo! But quit blaming the PC's they were just trying to do what Albertan's wanted!

Hamloc After 40 yr of con gov who do you think put us in this position ,as for nds how does any party turn this ship around in 4 yr,Jim Prentice had predicted a 6 billion deficet also and I will bet it would have been higher also.
As for looking in the mirror you are right it was the con supporters that refused to make them accountable for their mismanagement,i am not a nd suporter normaly but I am scared of the old guard getting back in power.
Do you see any of the old cacus anywhere, its like they droped off the face of the earth . Thomas Lucasic,(Gene swadesky, decised now).were the only ones willing to show thier faces and kudos to them how many are living in paradice some where on our money???

Horse, were you around when Lougheed bumped the Socreds out after 35 years in 1971?

Maybe Kenny is the new Peter Lougheed?

              Maybe not!!
