    Nathan Cullen quitting

I'm not an NDP supporter but was rather surprised to see this guy not standing at the next election. Isn't he one of the very best they've got and still a relatively young guy?

Maybe he doesn't like Singh and was hoping he would have lost the seat he was after. If Singh would have lost he most likely would have been turfed and the leadership open again? Just speculating.

Too bad, we are counting on orange pinko commies to split the vote with the red team Mafioso.

I've never seen him being anything other than impressive. It's been suggested to me tonight that maybe there is a realization that the NDP are heading into the wilderness for a few years, being unelectable with a visual minority leader (Canada not being ready for that yet). Further suggested that he may instead return to provincial politics where he grew up - in Ontario.
Just speculation but I find the timing of his departure strange with all that's going on in Ottawa just now.

Im guessing the left is splitting, not my words but a current member, no way we get elected with Singh in Alberta Sask Man, they only see the west taking the ball and running without a "white leader". Conversation started out with me asking if libs were fracturing. Now I've had a SK party member and NDP recognize things are not good out here. Seperation is on the radar and it's scaring the shit out of the establishment as they don't have any idea how to handle it. Yet to meet a self proclaimed liberal....

Cullen is a good MP along with Angus. But he sees writing on wall. Only the extreme left is going to vote for a towelhead leader. That is too much for moderate lefties. It isn't just Cullen. 25% of incumbent NDP MP's are not seeking reelection. There has never been that much of a turnover in a party within a year, ever - according to CBC Radio. But they can't say it's due to a towel - that's not PC.

Couple of things did me in on Singh
First there is only one answer
                    When it comes to terrorism.
We shall have none of it.
It is not that hard to say.

The other is pipelines .how can you be on the fence .
                    Build the dam thing.
                    Can not vote NDP.
Then , same story as always for the liberals.
The lessor of evils compared to the conservatives.
But they can not just serve the people. The moderates most canadians are.
Oh no .they have to get into a scandal, as usual ,about Quebec.
And screw things up so we end up
                    With a minnie Harper.as PM.again.

                    Better keep your seed .
You will never own any seed again
Once the conservities are back in.
                    Drug prices thru the roof.
                    On and on.
They never did one thing for the
                    Farmer last time around.
Dream on if you think it. will
                    Be different this time.

And pretty soon the only thing of value Canadians have left for
                    Sale will be Medicare.
And conservatives can not govern with out selling off assets.
                    So look out

Cullen , Angus , Rankin are strong voices....articulate...I don't care what party they belong to....at times they are very much worth listening to...

Ideology is a very bad thing to be blinded by....do I agree with everything they say or stand for ???? nope ...but I can listen to the other side with guys like this...

And don't forget on the SNC affair ....the NDP and conservatives are of the same opinion...this is a scandal that matters because it speaks volumes on our judicial system...

For the liberals to put the Duffy scandal in the same realm as the trudeau/SNC scandal is ****ing retarded....

sawfly if you want govt to do something for you then vote NDP. Conservatives are about turning the dials so govt doesn't have to do everything for you. That's the difference in the parties, not who will do what for me. That sounds just like the socialists.
