Suddenly when Scheer gets elected the price of oil and commodities will magically rise and Canada will be great again! LOL

The Trump groupies, on this site seem to forget that the US has a higher debt to GDP ratio than Canada and it is projected to continue to increase while Canada's debt to GDP ratio is lower and is projected to fall.

Errol has posted data and projections that the US economy is in trouble and slowing down. No doubt it will all be all the leader's fault as it is here in Canada.

Even if a trade deal is signed now , it would take 7 years to normalize China U.S. trade. Can you last that long? Sonny Purdue tells ag committee it is tough out there! No shit! Farmers where tossed under the bus by the great dealmaker.

The two of you keep saying "we" should join the USA. You both have made it clear you despise Trudeau and the Liberal party, but I'm wondering were the two of you pleading your cases on moving to the USA when Harper was PM or when G W Bush was POTUS?

Or are both of "you" just making threats on the move when your political party of choice isn't in power?
I can't speak for Jazz, but I have always been advocating for leaving this abusive relationship. It has made no difference to western Canada what party is in power, they both need eastern Canada votes to get elected.

I've just become more vocal since under Trudeau, the popular discontent, and therefore support for separation is very high. Much easier to rally westerners right now, than it will be when a supposedly right leaning government is in power, who at least pays lip service to western Canada.

But, mark my words. Trudeau has put in motion events that will inevitably lead to western separation, and the only way that makes economic sense is if we can negotiate joining the US as equals.

And for that, I do thank Trudeau, it is the one and only redeeming quality this government possesses.

I am fiscally on the extreme right, and socially on the moderate left, no party, in theory, or in reality represents my views.

Considering the US debt to GDP ratio is worse than Canada's and their Republican social views are far right you would not feel at home in the US would you?

You better hurry on this western separation utopia thing as there is a good chance Scheer will be our next prime minister in November and all our problems will be solved! LOL

And the US, uniquely among nations can take their debt to GDP to infinity and have no consequences. Sorry, not quite correct, and have no negative consequences for the US, while it destroys the rest of the worlds economies. They are the only game in town. Canada does not have that luxury.

That doesn't mean I have to agree with it.

Donald Trump’s $12 billion bailout of farmers who were hurt by his trade wars has been a big failure
A New York Times report has found that very little of Trump's $12 billion bailout has gone to struggling farmers
According to the Times, the bailout program “has done little to cushion the blow” of the president’s trade wars, “with red tape and long waiting periods resulting in few payouts so far.”

In fact, the Times estimates, just $838 million of the $6 billion worth of bailout funds that have been authorized so far has been paid out.

You can always get your "real news" from David Pecker and the National Enquirer!

If he wasn't a friend of Trump one of his headlines may have read: "Orange Headed Alien spotted at White House!"

Or Porn Star says "Trump's pecker a bit small" but price was right so I went with it.

" Trump says I am going to build that wall and Mexico is going to pay for it!"
