The most damning statement in Well's article is that Trudeau implemented DPA's, hidden in the budget bill, in 2018. This suggests he was in need of a loophole for SNC well before pressure was applied to the AG. This is organized corruption at the very top.

SNC lobbied the Libs to create a law to give them a get out of jail free card.

The Libs agreed to change the law and buried the change in an omnibus bill.

SNC asked to be allowed to use the newly created get out of jail free card.

The law as written specifically excluded SNC's circumstances.

You couldn't make this shit up - if you wrote it in a novel people would say it wasn't believable. This is the gang that can't shoot straight.
