She will be a far better candidate than most of us on here .....
I don’t think she should be discouraged at all . She adamantly defends Ag almost on a daily basis , promotes western Canadian Ag far more positive than the majority of us . If that’s what an airhead is , well I will take that over most of us dense , negative , weathered experienced guys on here lol .
As far as supporting the seed tax , well time will tell how that all plays out. If she is setting up a “seedfarm” well like Tom for sure she will support it . But reality is it’s coming regardless, it’s about how much control is given and who too.
No one is going to have the same opinions on everything ... ever.

Give her thirty years in the "Industry" and check her "attitude".

Ten feet tall and bullet proof, full of piss and vinegar and optimism.

      I'm a "bit jaded"...

Experience , experience , experience......we have a guy in Ottawa with zero experience....

I don't need someone like Megz representing farmers.....

Stay on social media ( the modern day party line) .....post your yields ....tell the world how good farming is then go to a parliamentary committee and tell them the only worth you have is the life insurance policy....

            sheesh!!!!!!

Ottawa will chew her up and spit her out....

But they would do the same to me....imagine not being able to swear?????holy shit would I be hooped....

I still think she is a good candidate. And lives loves farming.

              I would vote for her

No we have our guy and he will do fine he is young and educated and should be easy to beat Ralph.

Now the girl running against him I voted for as she was from rural and was very good.

                    Ah she lost.

You're not going to agree 100% on any candidate's views. I'm with you guys on the seed tax. That's what emails and letters and, god forbid, tweets are for, to try to sway her opinion.

But, she is a vocal advocate for ag, she has a positive and growing social media presence.

We need to make friends, not enemies, with the government and the general population. A codgy, jaded bastard like us isn't gonna do it, the future isn't into the "old white male" we rural folk like to elect.

I can't say I know much about the current MP there, but with her presence and tweets and selfies and videos, she makes farming relate-able and accessible. She'll bring the good kind of attention to Ag. You know, the kind we've been lacking as of late.
