Is it better for the Conservative's to go into the next election against a wounded Liberal peacock whose popularity numbers are falling or for have him resign in a puddle of tears for numerous reasons. If the Liberals replace Justin with a more popular leader would it be enough for a Liberal majority again? As usual it would depend on voters in Ontario and Quebec and how they thought the Liberals would perform without Trudeau and Butts ideology. However they would still have Morneau and McKenna's questionable logic to deal with.

And what about Scheer? He's been awfully weak through this debacle when it should have been a gift for him. Called for a resignation way to early in the proceedings and has no cards left to play.

With Trudeau as Liberal leader, they are dead west of Montreal...this means CPC majority.
If Trudeau actually resigns like he should, it will be a tossup. Trudeau likely doesn’t understand the seriousness of his actions and is too much of an egomaniac to admit guilt and step down anyways.

Your forgetting this issue is as much about the natives not getting more money fast enough a sit is what happened in this snc affair which really appears to be nothing more than the way all governments work. Like it or not.
So I spect the check book to come out.
As bad as jwr is saying things were which were what? She was asked to reconsider her position so what? She didn’t cross over to the conservatives which would have been the expected move. She never did because this is where she gets the money and the liberals get the election just watch.
