Read it but not sure what qualifies it as "far right" other than left leaning media saying It is.

The point is, once a label is put on someone it tends start to create divisions and marginalizes people and classes. In this case in NZ they're attaching "white supremist" and "white nationalist" as additional adjectives.

Interesting the gun issue.

Australia has strict laws on type weapons and ownership.

NZ according to some had tighter controls on getting a gun license and at point of purchase but many weapons banned in aust were freeley available in NZ.

The difference is or was in NZ you have to undergo some sort of phyciatric evaluation and some back ground checks before you can buy. Aust we have no such clearances.

Semi autos will be banned in NZ for sure now.

People live with our gun laws no probs.

One thing i would do is when he faces court, closed court no media no details.

Sometime down the track media relaease the accused has been found guilty on all charges life sentance for each of 50 murders never to be released.

And leave it at that no blow by blow court procceedings as it feed the next white supremasist and also gives the accused to spew his manifesto in court. And incite further hatred.

And it doesnt need to be a 12 month trial etc no jury just a judge could be done and dusted in a day not as if they havent got evidence for gods sake.
