Russia Record ****seed Crop and Oil Production

    http://www.blackseagrain.net/novosti/russia-record-****seed-crop-and-record-processing http://www.blackseagrain.net/novosti/russia-record-****seed-crop-and-record-processing

**** oil production in Russia in the past five months of the 2018/19 season was up 72.3% year-on-year at 283.1 KMT against 164.3 KMT in the same period last year, reports UkrAgroConsult.

Russia produced 63 KMT of **** oil in November 2018, or 11.3% more than in the previous month and up 51% from November 2017. For a fourth consecutive month this season, its production has been setting new records for the respective month.

UkrAgroConsult estimates that total **** oil output in the 2018/19 season will be at least 500 KMT. This will be contributed to by the country’s all-time heaviest ****seed crop along with favorable market prices for ****seed products.

For perspective, that is 1.3% of what Canada produced. Not even within the margin of error. Assuming that KMT is thousand metric tonnes.

Sure, let's all believe what comes from Putin, even if it came from a Ukraine source who is more than likely a Russian lackey.

Just like he tried to send his observes in for the Ukraine election, which were refused and now Putin sends in a Bill of non-recognition to Duma on the presidential election in Ukraine.

I wonder what their decision will be?

Yes and no. Europe calls it ****seed but is ****seed 00 (Low glucosinolates and erucic acid). Canola is a Canadian origin thing but canola is recognized under ISO 5725, Codex, ISTA, etc. It's also called Colza (French but still B. Napus) and LEAR (low euricic acid ****seed). Even Colza can be low which is confusing as well.

2.1.12 ****seed oil (turnip **** oil; colza oil; ravison oil; sarson oil: toria oil) is produced from seeds of Brassica napus L., Brassica campestris L., Brassica juncea L. and Brassica tournefortii Gouan species.

2.1.13 ****seed oil - low erucic acid (low erucic acid turnip **** oil; low erucic acid colza oil; canola oil) is produced from low erucic acid oil-bearing seeds of varieties derived from the Brassica napus L., Brassica campestris L. and Brassica juncea L., species.

Yep. ****seed is ubiquitous to canola here.

In England they used to call it low acid **** but that's not very... Um... Politically correct.

                  Argentina calls it Colza.

The tonnage is small but growing rapidly. The infrastructure and climate lends itself to canola. If the prices / demand is there, millions of tonnes can be produced.

Kazakhstan just started up a 2nd oil crush facility.

Also Kz ****seed oil is allowed into China but whole seed isn't. I expect this to be changed if China has canola demand.

In the UK they still use the term oil seed rage or OSR. Anyways it does look like the black sea region is going to ramp up but still small at the present time. Get ready for more competition.

Your sarcasm isn't that funny Furrow, posting a picture of Brian Williams the big Bullshitter.

If you don't believe the current news reports, maybe you should read a history book or Google about the inflection Russia has laid on Ukrainians in the past century.

History repeats, and Putins knows his history!
