Harper was I hibernation for 2 or 3 years just to get re elected.He would not attend premier conference to talk an energy strategy 10 months before the election.Brad Wall wanted to talk a new equalization payments the summer before the election and Harper said no way.He needs the Quebec vote.Give Harper credit he had all the federal and provincial conservatives muzzled.

Until now, Scheer has appeared as trustworthy, an advantage that’s easy to lose.

The article in the G&M today said there were disagreements about the reconciliation agenda. JWR wanted it to go much further, faster and go on longer. A chance to really milk out the gains.
