Would one of our left leaning friends explain how carbon is harmful to our children's health and harmful for the economy?

The way i understand it is more carbon the plants can suck up the more oxygen they will expel?
I don't understand how killing the economy in Western Canada will improve the economy maybe explain how that works?

Only if delivered to the farm. Card-lock guys like me are shit out of luck in Ontario. And there are very few guys shelling out money for ground tanks around here. A lot of us run around with skid tanks.

It’s on natural gas, electricity, propane, all fuel custom haulers use.
So fertilizer will have extra costs to make and get delivered to the farm.

seldom, "I don't understand how killing the economy in Western Canada will improve the economy maybe explain how that works?"

It's just like George W Bush going back to Iraq, Justa Turd is coming for Western Canada to finish off the job that PET didn't get done. He's gonna destroy our wealth and put us in our place, for even dreaming about having any power in Canada. How dare we threaten the Laurentian Elite of Central Canada, don't we in the West know, what piss ants we are.

Hmmmm , don’t think the $609 is going to cover that for the average farm lol .

Be interesting to hear how much some farms had to pay in carbon tax in Alberta where they had to dry a huge amount of grain . I heard some huge bills .

That was what they were saying a few weeks back but it has changed - there are already signs up at the cardlocks here in Manitoba spelling that out.

              From the Western Producer
"Farm fuel purchased at cardlocks will be exempt from the federal carbon tax when it comes into force April 1. Draft regulations released in the March 19 federal budget included a provision for the exemption, but with a 30-day comment period. That led to some confusion as to when exactly the exemption would be in place. According to the finance department, the Canada Revenue Agency, which is responsible for administering the program, “will administer draft amendments on the assumption that the amendments will be enacted. As such, the expanded relief for farmers would be available as of April 1.”

The carbon tax on our fuel is the last of our worries ... just wait .
It’s the carbon tax on everyone else’s fuel that will be passed to us . And then carbon tax on fert that have been projected to be $200/tn
This is just a baby step , no different than the seed tax , it’s never the first wave that knocks you , it the one that follow

It'll be cheaper to rent a truck from a trucking company, the driver to provide services, plate and fuel it myself, then to hire a company to deliver..... the hunt for taxes is going insane

I think that figure has been revised to over $500 million in GST just in the first year, and up every year. Plus they are keeping 10% of the carbon tax.
