The big brass went to help nut case in Alberta.

The result is a $100 billion debt.

If the NDP wins again in Alberta you will see a great change. The debt will climb to 200 billion in short order. Highways will crumble.

I really do think the NDP wrecked Sask. With Stupid ideas of owning everything from land to oil to potash. Civil servants care about a check at the end of two weeks they really don't have a stake in making things great.

All I know is the Sask I grew up in under the Famous NDP. It ran the province like the Mafia. Unions paid big money back to the party and got favours. The voters that were strong NDP got favours and jobs for their kids. If you were smart Sasktel Sask power, little slower Dept of highways or parks. Women got secretary jobs. Rest of the population went to tec or university and moved away. Basically, you got a suitcase for grade 12 grad.

Hopefully April 17, Highway 1 will be bumper to bumper orange electric cars trying to get from Alberta to BC. (Gonna set up a charging station 100 miles west of Edmonton) Next stop west of Vancouver is pretty wet and salty. Just saying.

Any government party in for too long is no good. It was disappointing the sask party didn’t change themselves completely. They have no new ideas only follow the whims if the oil industry. There is so much more opportunity that we need to open our minds up to. Klaus has shown many things about other countries and how they have more strategic plans we only have people that seem to plan how to better themselves first and if there is time maybe something just enough to get voted in for the rest.
Have hammered us farmers as bad or worse than the ndp. The ndp went too far with union but some of the job things they did were good for workers. Ironically much of what the private sector workers enjoy is because of unions. Since companies that don’t want unions give better deals to workers which never would have happened without unions.

It s a sad state we re in voting for people that are truly not remarkable or visionary just because of what the ndp did a ling time ago.

No matter what happens in Alberta their province will be better for the change they made to the ndp. It got rid of at least some of the crooks to the right and showed people things don’t totally fall apart in 4 years and it hasn’t in Alberta it isn’t near as bad as what some are whining about.
We re all paying too much in oil and taxes to support the oil industry yet us farmers get nothing for support. Our programs are a disaster themselves. Our ideas about seed and input costs are bizarre we re being sold that higher prices for these things are going to be good for us. Are we really that mental??

Sask3 My question was how big would the debt have been if Prentice would have won the election.
If you plant a crop and leave it to someone else to harvest and its a money looser whos fault is it yours or the harvester

Statoil (State Oil) in Norway made Norway into one of the richest most prosperous countries in the world with over a trillion dollars in their rainy day fund. Not bad for a bunch of nordic socialists. hahaha They are real fiscal conservatives not the give it all away ones we have here!

Back in the day, Grant Divine presided over one of the most depressing periods in Saskatchewan agriculture. Low prices, high interest rates and bad weather forced a lot of farmers out of business. Farm foreclosures were common. Lets blame Grant for ****ing up ag in the 80s! I am sure it was all his fault! hahaah
