If politicians would appeal to peoples sensibilities they will rise to the standard. Just like recycling. Clearly you can see the good that does. LED lights. Less waste, better furnace, more insulation, car that gets better gas mileage. All things that will make a difference right away. But throw in scaremongering with pseudo science and alarmism plus shaming and hypocrisy and public tunes out. That's what will happen. Almost $2 per L in Vancouver,. $1.30 here. Just 3 months ago it was 99c and still is in the US. Not carbon tax coming on all bills retractive to January with GST on carbon tax. Its all a scam. All pain and no gain.

Why not just say you disagree with me or the post and explain why and back it up with some independent evidence? Try it it's not that hard unless you don't have anything to back your opinions up?

And why don't you refute the science and evidence presented in the video, instead of attacking the Scientist personally as is the Modus operandi's of anyone who does not comprehend the science behind a complicated subject. Or were totally WRONG. Read a good one, Life can be understood from the end, but must be lived be lived from the beginning. We are constantly learning, ask the older guys, it has been HOT and COLD, not our fault, and we can not make a difference. Totally agree we can use better tech to reduce recycle reuse.
