Yup, then all the condoms, drugs expelled in urine and feces or unwanted medication just flushed down the terlet.....and who knows what all else....small pet birds, maybe reptiles, the kid's dead goldfish, cooking waste....

heres some facts grass ;
bc is by far and away the largest polluter (yes this is pollution)followed closely behind by quebec
between the two they account for well over 60% of canadas sewage dump

Bearing in mind that the water we use now is essentially the same stuff the dinosaurs peed in just many times recycled by the earth I'm more concerned by what farma brought up - drug residue being flushed down the toilet. Residue of birth control pills in the water supply is likely what is causing the dramatic crash in male fertility - that's the kind of thing that could preclude human survival on this planet. Another concern are the toxins and carcinogens being introduced into our water supplies/aquifers by activities like fracking - things like benzene in your water supply are more of a concern to me than untreated sewage being discharged in the ocean.
