Oh, one more thing and again I can't make shit like this up.

Trump gives China exclusions from steel tariffs and not Canada.

Let that sink in all you liberals.

Yea Justin and Freeland have it all figured out.

        They both are idiots.

Nothing short of the same type of funding every other industry gets.....

Evraz received 40 million ...is it repayable?

Loblaws received 12 million. ..is it repayable. ...they said it took 50000 cars off the road. ...how many cars has farmers took off the road with no till farming and cleaner tractors? ....Where is our money for those efforts.....

Riverhurst irrigation district puts 20 bucks an acre into a fund and the government gives them 40 bucks.....where is dryland farmers funding that matches that?

Trudeau talked about the 110 million given to Toyota a year ago that allowed Canadian taxpayers to help fund the building of Lexus cars there....guys that can afford a Lexus should pay for it not taxpayers.....low income taxpayers subsidizing high end autos....next they will bring a Ferrari or lamborghini plant here and use the same logic....

And once again....where the **** is the publicity from our farm groups??????

Oh, one more shit show. China executed a Canadian, he was given the death penalty for involvement in an international methamphetamine operation.

Its time to start opening every container coming into Vancouver send the bill to China and then show which companies are shipping drugs into our country.

            The Chinese can't be trusted.

No use wasting our breath. The f—-in farm groups must have got a Chinese cruise up the Yantzi promised if they keep their moutns shut and the Pulse Board and Can Pulse must have got offered an Indo-Asian month - long rick-shaw ride. Who could believe this bull?

Go get your advances boys. Don't worry if JRI or Viterra get direct cash bailouts.

https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/government-to-announce-support-for-canadian-canola-farmers-1.4402536 Government to announce support for Canadian canola farmers

The federal government will make an announcement on Wednesday to help the country’s canola farmers who’ve been caught in the middle of a dispute with China, sources tell CTV News.
Sources say the announcement will help farmers access funding to cover existing issues they might have.
The Chinese government blocked Canadian shipments of canola at the beginning of March in what is believed to be a response to the arrest of senior Huawei executive Meng Wanzhou in December.

The Chinese government has said the shipments did not meet their standards of quality, but the Canadian Food Inspection Agency has inspected the shipments twice and did not find any impurities.
Chinese buyers represent roughly 40 per cent of Canada’s canola industry, where it’s primarily used for cooking.
To make up for this loss, Canada has been looking for other Asian customers and is pushing China to allow a Canadian delegation to verify their complaints, which has so far been denied.

This will just consolidate farms again when the hurt of additional debt becomes reality....

If they bail out grain cos. ...whats the point?

They make money on margins....they are covered when you sign a contract....

The real hurt of the loss of 50 bucks a tonne is on farmers....

ah, the canola growers answer to $8.00 canola, lobby the govt to increase cash advances. Great business for the canola growers, collecting all those advance admin fees Maybe they will waive these fees in support of farmers? likely not.

First year ever I may be asking for my money back from all the commodity check offs. I know that is opposite of what I've ever done or said in the past but enough is enough. I actually compiled the list of addresses and deadlines already.

Yea More debt for Canadian Farmers.

Wow oh Wow what a great Idea.

                                HAH HAHAHAHAHAH

ITs a repayable debt and who is it going to help.

For one thing, you need 200000 bus of Canola. So most won't hit that number.

Using 50 as benchmark and crop insurance guarantee. 42 bus Or basically 5000 acres seeded to canola will qualify.

Its all about keeping the pigs fed and the Farmers F@#Ked.
