Why is pulse seed treatment so expensive compared to cereal seed treatment? If they would just drop the price it would be cheap insurance. Right now the farmer gets 15-25% rebate back off srp and the seed plant/custom seed treater guy also gets 20-30% back off srp. If they can rebate back 50% on seed treatments, why not drop the price in 1/2 and sell way more.

The canola seed companies could have done that too. They could have said, hey it looks like a tough yr, lets give everybody $100 off each bag just to help. Nope didn't do that. They don't change their outlook until their sales actually are lower.
