I see you have finally come to your senses and took “AIM” no pun and are seriously looking at something red on your farm. To me there is only one sprayer and it looks real good amongst all the green. Lol

I could be all wet . I treat sometimes . But seed treatment in my mind is snake oil.
You can grow 50 Bush. Peas not
                  Treating F all.
Seems like a good way to burn up money

Sawfly how about higher peas than the 50. you know its possible with the right conditions and cold ground like this year it does work. If it was plus 20 and nice and warm at night, not a chance it's going back to town.

You KNOW that seed treatment works in a cold year like this or you ASSUME it must work in a year like this. I know very few that have actual side by side trials in cold soil.

Why is pulse seed treatment so expensive compared to cereal seed treatment? If they would just drop the price it would be cheap insurance. Right now the farmer gets 15-25% rebate back off srp and the seed plant/custom seed treater guy also gets 20-30% back off srp. If they can rebate back 50% on seed treatments, why not drop the price in 1/2 and sell way more.

That's what they are counting on you to do. Up the inputs to counter the price drop.

The canola seed companies could have done that too. They could have said, hey it looks like a tough yr, lets give everybody $100 off each bag just to help. Nope didn't do that. They don't change their outlook until their sales actually are lower.
