Wish I could post a video of my organic neighbors field. Not sure my canola will come thru all the blow dirt that is accumulating

That's not good. Do you know if he's certified with ProCert or TCO or not certified, in transition? Do you know what to do or do you care?

At least he is still successfully farming here in western Canada. Probably has for several generations and most likely will continue to carry on . That’s credibility.

You're up early or had a late night?
Probably and most likely is sketchy at best. He can speak for himself but he's blocked me. Oh wait, he can't help but click on view post, that's credibility.

            Morning shift
To be successful here one needs to go the extra mile during critical times . Seeding window is not very wide.

well, according to the articles on Germination and Producer- those guys already taking seeds and they have posted a "MANIFESTO"

I assume that the next step will be looking for someone to teach how to use the seeds, LOL

                What could possibly go wrong?

Kazakh might be the ChemCo, SeedCo, GrainCo, FertCo, MachineryCo's next cash cow or goose that lays the golden egg, let them feed the parasites too

They may be severely land locked but they are neighbors with China.

Otherwise they have to go through alot of "stans" to get to tide water.

Canada has been over there helping them for many years. In livestock they have been buying seedstock for years. Sold them a few loads of heifers in another lifetime. The people that came over here on buying trips were very smart shrewd eager to learn. The one thing i noticed they really think big and their time frame is not years but generations.
As for eating our lunch they are very capable of doing that.

A neighbour to the biggest trade bully in the world who will give you half-price because you are close.

We are buying 3 times as much as we are selling to them and they crap on our canola. Same goes for India with the tariff on our lentils. Trudeau didn’t dance nice in his yellow frills and we get hammered. Ag is the whipping boy because we are wusses and don’t turn off the tap.

We silver pattered the flax market to them when Triffid hit....

Ag canada officials in the seed tax meeting in saskatoon in 2018 were oblivious to the fact....

The infrastructure spending done in that region compared to Canada ....its becoming obvious we may soon be the vodka drinking drunks running farms ....

Sure we have production increases but we still have a single line of railway to export.....this country isn't even trying to stay ahead ...

Phuck sakes we are paying people not to work and bringing in TFW to do it....under the disguise of skilled labour...its cheap labour because governments here have made it too expensive to live off a job....

Off topic but how can a country rich in resources be an expensive place to live...

We have as much energy resources as Saudi Arabia but fuel for vehicles and natgas for houses keeps going up...

88.9 at the local coop for gas...consumers in this area should be outraged...but since the general population buys into the excuse that oil has gone up...they accept it...oil is as cheap as it was in the 70s....while gas is 10 times higher if not more...

Governments won't do a thing about it because thats their revenue...not oil royalties....fuel taxes...inphuckingsane

Remember this.....Canada is the only nation on this planet that rationalized destroying a rail network other countries could only hope for while at the same time production was set to increase and crop rotations were providing a more diversified crop mix...

Excluding the northern tier states as we were following their lead like sheep.
