Seen some positive signs last few trading days.

Is it valued cheaper than competeing oilseeds(on an oil and meal basis).

Well now that China and US are going to (trade) war, likely a way for Canadian trade to sneak up the middle. Including canola. They still need oil and meal. Not sure of another market that could provide it. Guess soy beans from brazil and **** from EU.

Trump's trade war has made such-a-mess of markets that rallies will be short-lived (IMO). Consider maintaining your price protection as we are a long way's from out-of-the-woods.

U.S. retail sales just released this morning a major miss . . . -0.02%. Shoe appears dropping for stock markets. Even a rate cut by the Fed may not be enough to stop this fallout (IMO).

Its not a mess Errol, its a rewriting of the global order. More than just economics here and I assume the US will stay the course regardless of a hit to GDP. Economists are predicting a 0.3% in GDP. So basically nothing.

We have to reset this bullsh*t that someone dreamed up 30 yrs ago.

Imagine this scenario for a little guy working somewhere. There used to be a big employer in your town for decades but suddenly they pick up stakes and move to china, and sell those same products back to your country with much lower expenses, but the same markup. So then you have no job but the local wal mart or something only to find we are bringing in TFWs for those jobs too. No wonder people are pissed.

Why is this Trump's trade war? China wants unfettered access to our market while charging tariffs on what we send them. President Trump has just said that that type of so called free trade was not good enough which most adults would agree. This is China's trade war. President Trump has fired back. Here in canuckistan apparently we want to be a Chinese vassal state apparently judging by comments here and elsewhere.

Before this shit show started, China had an average 10% tariff in place on all US imports and USA had 4%, for perspective
