No Crap Insurance, little chance of collecting Agrimiserability, AngryInvest is pocket change.....feels like we're going it alone in the Ghetto. And we basically are.

Little over 1.5 inches here since snow gone,so we are in fair condition for now,but it could warm up a whole bunch.
Am relying on moisture deficency ins this yr as it looks bad later on,do you in sask have moisture defecency ins or just all risk ?
I perfer this as they look in rain gague and if short they pay ,if not life is good also,no checking bins looking at your past records ect.

Yeah, but what do they use for local weather measuring sites Horse? Seem to recall that program was very unpopular when it was first introduced because it often didn't reflect the moisture that fell on your land.

Its got a lot better with many weather sites to pick from now,you can find one close to your farm. They used to put them along the rivers and on prevaling wind routes on the end of lakes but now better.
The way things are looking it seems like a good bet this yr,but a good storm and you get nada, better gamble than putting in crop.

The weather aspect of it is probably as good as they can easily do it. The issue I have is when a payout is triggered from drought it isn’t near enough to offset the loss of feed since the value of that missing feed is higher than you’re covered for. As long you don’t really rely on it then it’s great. I consider it my gambling money without going to a casino (only been there once anyway)

Don’t paint us all with the same brush.

Must’ve really had a bad experience to switch over to protein isolate, soy, sodium laced “discs” instead of natural protein.

To each his own.... Bon appetite
