    Urea price drop this spring

In a rare piece of good news, urea dropped in price $50 per tonne this past month. Some of the first stuff I got was $595 per Mt and the later starting around mid May was $545 thank to prevent plant corn. $545 was below the price last fall. Likely need to stock up this summer as corn will be planted next year. Barley, oats and wheat should all benefit from the prevent plant. Nice to see inputs respond a bit to reality. Canola seed needs to do likewise.

Is Phos and Urea able to move north up the Mississippi?

There are rumours of retailers who ran out of product for a while this spring?(in fact I know)

Tight supply? Logistics issues? Didn't forward contract supply or enough?' Allocation?

            Case

Holy shit $595.00, in the fall, greed on their part! Southern Mb $520.00 in Oct. I guess freight might come into play, not sure it would justify $75.00 per tonne. $540/tonne this spring.

Been dealing with them for 10 years straight and a they are very reasonable to deal with.
