    Some disjointed thoughts this am.

What the hell do you all expect?????
We've been studying China now for 3 centuries and we're *** surprised now??? Did no one read James Clavell?? Lol.
Sask3. Who really gives a fk about farming anymore??? Neighbour finally got controlling shares in family farm and he's gone to the big city the next day before he's 40.
Consolidation won't stop until the next schism like a civil war for eg. We sell a commoditized product.

The USA requested her extradition and arrest, Not Trudeau. We need China trade more than they need us. We are not the only target of China. US soybean farmers have been shut out as well. Is that Trudeau’s fault too? How can you defend Trump in the face of the fact that he caused a lot of our trade problems? Your one sided partisan views are way off the mark. Trump could solve this problem. But he doesn’t care what happens to Canola farmers in Canada. You don’t matter. He has lots of money to throw at US farmers to keep them happy before 2020.

What solution is Scheer proposing for China and farmer support. He is going to standup to China and do exactly what that will have an impact? Escalating this standoff is not the solution. The USA doesn’t want Huawei tech for various reasons. Trump is trying to bully the Chinese into submission.

Our small market for Chinese products doesn’t really matter to them when the rest of the world buys a lot more Chinese imports.

They were trying to figure out how to compete with them so they bought a chinese light pole to look at it and then they realize the how to do it. All poles must bend or break when hit at the speed of 15 mph or more and they realized that it would take a much bigger hit than that to break off these chinese light poles and that they wouldn't meet that safety spec. So they were built heavier than they should have been and wouldn't break or am I misunderstanding your story? That's not your typical Chinese product.

I think the jist of it was they didn't meet spec. Sounds like it is more expensive to build them to break.

My point is whether they are putting melamine in milk to increase the protein, or lead in the paint on children's toys or cutting a safety standard. Lots of junk coming out of china.
