    Legal accountability for forecasting

When they tell me lots of rain I plant certain crops when it doesn’t rain anywhere near maybe there ought to be accountability financially. This is not a game about whether we go to the park today this is about billions of dollars. I know they can’t make it rain but their projections that don’t come true have big consequences for us farmers.

Yup....I am struggling with my fertilizer program....I usually float after the crop is up prior to 5 leaf ...so I was geared up to go Tuesday for the big rain on saturday....Been sitting with the change in the forecast and now an inch of rain for June 17.....by then I don't think it will matter if I have 10 pounds or 150 pounds ...this crop is done by then.....

So who would be accountable? The national services that produce the weather models? the meteorologists who interpret those models, or the forecasting delivery "people" (websites, weatherman/woman, app, etc)?

Why does the radar pic show precipitation when there isn't a drop falling?

        Radisson radar the worst offender.

Good points but my question always comes back to this....if you can't predict accurately 7 days out ...why call 10 years out a climate emergency????

Weather is a dynamic always moving target.....I don't know what moves the atmosphere in such ways that the "I" states are flooding and we are in a drought....but if no one has the answer....its difficult to believe their dire 10 year out predictions??????

Part of the “market scheme” thats been going on for years
Western producer article the other day is the perfect example
They report that there is a big rain coming then its the gospel
The whole thing is a fn joke

Talk to a certain law group about a class action.....I swear the Weather Network puts rain in the forecast just to get clicks on their website.

Nah, they're just making sure that home depot doesn't get sued for having rope readily available in the shelves...

They've got "rain mixed with snow" in the forecast tomorrow... If I don't see a snowflake, I'll be sueing!

Disclaimer: as much as I'm praying for moisture, I really don't think it'll help everyone's sanity to see it in solid form.

****... if that happens, well have had snow in 10 of the last 12 months!

I know, I know... a few solar panels, wind turbines, and a carbon tax and well be right back to normal though.

There is a thing that scares me, to be honest. I know that everyone is a little businessman here, but if you don't pay attention to such things as accounting and money management, you can end up not very well. I see a lot of you say that you can do it by yourself, but I don't think so! If you are not qualified, there are big chances that you will lose everything that you own. To avoid it, I recommend you see a place like https://www.mercans.com/solutions/mercans-global-payroll-solutions-hrms/ global payroll processing where you can get all the assistance you need. Remember, it is ten times wiser to let people do what they can do instead of doing everything on your own.

Not sure what your point is, but if you're saying we need weathermen I agree.
Still today as stressful as when Ike postponed from 5th to 6th.
