Arctic Is Melting

I don't know why people expect dramatic examples of what climate change is doing.

Both my graphic and the other graphic show long term ice decline trends. The trends are what is important not any particular month in one year because there is variability.

This is a relatively slow process as it takes along time and a lot of energy to warm up water and melt ice. Most of the worlds temperature increases have been absorbed by the oceans.

Much of the arctic is warming up relatively fast.

Thanks Chuck for our daily dose of good news. This site is getting very depressing with all the bad news lately, but you can be counted on to to offer soothing words with a positive message, looks like the next ice age has been postponed at least another year. Now back to worrying about other things for the rest of the day. You are a beacon of hope in a sea of despair.

Could you please back that statement up with facts? Now that we have enough years of accurate data, most of the alarmists have abandoned the physically and mathematically impossible claims that the oceans could be used to explain the ongoing pause in global warming. Please try to keep up.

If this theory is so sound and backed by everyone then why does one look at a photo raise questions? You aren't intrigued by that photo? If the arctic warming 4x faster, then sea ice over warmer salty water should be disappearing very fast. Clearly its not. Should I pretend the photo doesn't exist?

Is there a politician running in the next federal election that believes climate change is a hoax? Seems people try to link these beliefs to certain parties.when in fact they all believe climate change is real just disagree on how to deal with it.Politicians know better to not follow and quote garbage groups.

Why do I need to be smarter than NASA.

I was told ice is going going gone, so I assume that when I look, it would be noticable, but then the ice matches 1980 measurements and I cant help but wonder why. I was also told the earth is rapidly warming, but we have had 10 frost events this past 2 months. Hmm. Inquisitive people ask questions. Low information people gulp down govt koolaid.
