No rain for 3 months and then get 4 inches at once.

Ill take 6inches all at once better than this shit. Everything is on life support. The cracks will take the 1st 3 inches no problem.

Looks like The Weather Network has it's crayons out again, hopefully some meaningful rain for the Slum of the Ghetto this time.

I keep thinking about improving the worst case crop scenario with needed rain......not decreasing the best case crop scenario even if it does rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!....helps keep disappointment down to a manageable level!!!!! Think about it.

1981 was pretty much like this until about this same time got a real good rain. After plowing all the crop down in 1980, we had pretty much wall to wall summerfallow in 1981. 🤞🏽

My sense of Humor this week is not quite working. High School friend drowned in Northern Sask, Mother broke her Ankle and Father is starting to forget some things and showing his age. Shit is piling up. But yea I should look at the big picture and be like water off a duck back. Runoff.

            No problems, keeping it real.

To late for rain in a big area. Maybe rain can help a bit but the chance of a good crop have been gone for a couple weeks already.
Economy depending on farmers being profitable is going to feel this one.

West of Edmonton we’re at 1.25 inches and still steadily coming down. Got 360 acres of alfalfa planted yesterday/ this morning and finished harrowing in the mud and hardly made it out of the field.

The grass is definitely growing like gangbusters. Now off to bring the bulls home for semen testing and definitely going to get soaked. Hope the “wealth “ gets spread around to everyone else. 🍀

Woodland, we are finally getting a little drink around Regina. We are just about at half inch and still raining. The earth worms drank the first 1/2 inch, now to fill the cracks. 👍
