I went to the Farm progress show with an inch of rain in the gauge and it was sunny out ...was perfect with the cooler forecast...

8 hours later it said 4.25 inches....its too much...do you put 4.5 inches on with irrigation????

I was very thankful on Friday for the rain....thought that was a positive comment...so yes I do say positive things...

I also made positive comments of your appearance in front of the ag committee about how a loan wasn't in the best interest of farmers...

Does your ego need more stroking...mine doesn't...and if you want fake news you won't get it from me...

If you want sunshine and lollipops ...go to a candy store...

BTW ...I also notice you have had a change of heart about whether a free market exists?????

Whats that about ....thought you guys had it all figured out about the open market ...

Forgot to tell Yerry to have accountable reporting...

And one other question...why wasn't your stored canola protected with options because in front of the ag committee you mentioned you had lost 50k...

You have no choice with wheel moves and the ground with that type of irrigation probably needs it...Been there and done that...People with wheel moves probably shut them off in a soaking rain for a little while...and that type of irrigating gets more attention because the moves are probably every 8 hours...

As far as shots at you they were valid comments....just reality ...just like the fact that 3 inches of rain in under 8 hours is too much...

everyone was done spraying around here or near to it
So what about the weeds germinating now, spray twice or hope for competition? Thin short crops poor competition. Wheat close to heading.

Here on my clay I don’t care how dry it is or how big the cracks in the ground are 4.5 inches will cause problems! A slow rain is worst because as the clay gets wet it swells and the seals and then water just pools and runs.

Just so everyone knows....we are arguing about rain....pretty ****ing stupid isn't it...

I said 4.5 inches is too much over the time period received for my land basically....

But VVALK wants to argue which is fine....just remember he is the guy trying to represent you...so if you end up with a ****ed up program ...there is probably a reason why...

Here is a guy that whispered to Yerry to implement a free market and now in the calgary herald he says it doesn't exist....no shit...he also forgot to implement transparent and accountable reporting of Grain companies , grades etc....too difficult...

But the WCWGA stern letter to the federal ag minister will probably set things in motion....

So what if it causes some problems. So what if your low spots fill up a bit. What’s the percentage? Getting top yields on 80-90% of your farm makes for a pretty good year. That’s the point. It’s just whining. Your right Bucket I’m the only farmer in western Canada to have unsold canola back in April. Options in canola to hedge yourself? Really?

Ask yourself what your commissions are doing. Again Bucket back up your big mouth and join a group. You know everything, the sask wheat commission could really use someone like that

Got 1.5" here, mostly in a 5 hour spell on Friday. Land has gladly soaked it in and I'd be happy for more.

As for big rainfall events that was why I was posting Gabe Brown's claims about infiltration rates a while back. Claims he upped infiltration rates from 1/2" hour to 10" hour. Maybe an exaggeration and not true on every soil but I'm sure he is onto something - we are working hard to increase our infiltration rates but have a long way to go. I want to hold all the water that falls on my land yet my neighbours are all dedicated to getting all the water off their land.

Way to much here. 3 inches since last week Wednesday on top of already wet land. Crop was coming nice but now has significant flooded and waterlogged areas. Showering today and need to spray bad.

Another 3/10’s this morning puts us just under 5” since June 13. Just under 3” since Friday morning. JDGreen territory.
