Neighbors wheat crop seeded early like Apr 30th or something stood a lot of dry cold weather and was looking ok from the road. Got its first taste of moisture and said f this I am heading out and done for this yr. Heading out nearly a month early. Safe to say that crop has been cut in half.
Canola is way behind around here. Even guys who got it started seeding into stubble now see it didn't grow much in that time. Looks to be 2-3 weeks behind the norm. Guys like me who didn't get it started are looking at visible rows just getting established this week. Gonna have to make up some ground fast to avoid a fall frost. Dad said get the swather out. Good thing we didn't sell it.Last edited by jazz; Jun 25, 2019, 13:20.

You could spray all summer this year, new weeds a coming, certainly after you sprayed. Guys tell me they are spraying even if heading to keep fields clean for 2020.
