I remember how Harper had a brain. He was a policy nerd to a fault. I remember his many promises that got kept. I remember tax credits, the gst reduction, just like he promised. I remember the Tfsa, which is arguably one of the most positive changes to the tax act since the coming of the rrsp.

Harper cared because he found policy fascinating, he lived and breathed policy. He stood up for Canada when others were bullies.
