SF3 you are wasting your time trying to argue logic with people who can not think a problem through. Improve and provide accurate short term weather forecasting 6hrs out; 12 hrs out; 24 hrs out. Then improve longer range forecasting 3 days; 5 days, 7 days and monthly. Until they can do that any statement about a climate emergency predicting years out is pointless and a waste of resources and money. What joke we have become here in Canada - useless government, and many useless members of society that can not reason. I am completely sick of listening to stupid ideas for non problems. Solve real definable problems - raw sewage into water ways, fix the radar, fix the roads, teach mathematics properly, teach real science, use a reusable water bottle or a glass and wash it... build a pipeline, built a rail line, improve port access, hire the best person for the job... need I go on. if you believe you fall outside the two common genders great for you dress and act however you want if I am not comfortable around you that’s fine it’s my right to avoid you or say what I think. If you believe in climate change great use your money to make changes not mine, want to help third world nations great do it on your own dime. Spend money to create value...

SF, you can’t fix stunned. Early warning has proven to save lives and reduce injuries. He probably doesn’t wear a seatbelt. Just wanna say Harper never tried to fix it either. 🦃 They are all useless as ......... Guess we’ll have to fix it for ourselves when we run our own affairs.

Say I have a tractor with a flat tire, and a usable but weak transmission and a strong engine. My logic is to fix the tire first and then maybe consider the transmission repair if I decide the tractors value warrants that repair. I would bet there are people out there that would replace the engine first with a cleaner burning one and then realize that they can not afford the tire...

I was combining down south a few years before the big one hit Edmonton.
The radio then, had a better system down there, than we have here today.
Also, they're used to it. Most here never seen one. So, wide warnings come on here and we learn to ignore them.
Two or three color levels of alert if I remember right.
Red alerts there for your specific town, and you didn't fool around.
Not sure why so difficult here.

Because we're too busy pissing money away playing the world's best boyscout.

And catering to every imaginable domestic minority interest group(somehow being paid to be who they are) versus looking after the population as a whole.

Most Liberal MP's are hoarse from talking, while their 4 year old work gloves remain laying on their desks with the price tag still attached.

What pisses me off, we have boy blunder handing money out all over the world yet something vital for safety of the population they drag there feet and do nothing.
I don’t care if they fix it for the city dwellers or spin it that way, just put money to it.
