Maybe we need status of a special interest minority group. Who has been persecuted one way or another.

Do you really think Trudeau would have approved the pipeline if thousands of oil trucks had not descended on Regina? Farmers are complacent so our lobby groyps are la-di-da, we are just whining in the willows. We need to be heard. MO

The only thing coming from Trudeau is the faint hope that Donald Trump helps canada...the rest is just noise....

After insulting Trump for 3 years ..Trudeau thinks he will get help from him....Trudeau is some stupid..

Freeland giving millions to the Ukraine. No interest in helping Canadians.

While I agree with your latter point re farmers and complacency I disagree with the first. As a political movement the truck convoy was a failure and likely had zero influence on the subsequent decision. It barely made mainstream media and although some of you folks think the earth revolves around SK the terminus of the convoy wasn't Regina but Ottawa and it's arrival there was totally overshadowed by the SNC/JWR scandal.

Regardless the farm vote in either country is insignificant.

Well no - if you separate MB, SK, AB and BC the farm population of the new entity would be less than 3.5% versus the 2% it is now. Hardly a game changer. Looking out our farmhouse windows does not give a representative view of Canada.

Agree , but western Canadian farming would have a far stronger meaning , that can’t be denied

We simply can not be dictated to by a handful of French Canadian elite socialists any longer
It’s killing our economy..... look around out your window and go to your local dealerships come fall
