Markets seemingly content at moment, beans seem to have most volatilty.
Thinking out loud whats gonna push them to next level if there is one bear in mind here in Oz we have excellent basis albiet drought induced basis just huge shortage no stocks and as you know some imports happened.
But forget my backyard.
UK EU Russia/Black sea are all average or above??
South America average or better?
Will seperate canada and usa.
Canada Average to below no offence intended for those who are having a crap shoot thus far in 19.
USA similar to canada average to below?
Guess the kicker is corn and what happens and markets will follow in usa which will eventually flow or will black sea/russia have a massive year and drive things down?
Looks like sideways with odd spike up and down for next few months until corn harvest is done and dusted.
Correct me if im wrong.
Back to my backyard or nearby, 2018 was a poor year worst ever for many zero harvest for many. We going "just ok" in my patch if it turns dry quick could be tough as were just rain to rain another 6mm forecast tommorw but weve only had one huge rain 30mm about 3/4 weeks back.
Anyway a freind about 80kms north of me in a well known rain shadow area had lowest rainfall ever in 18 well hes currently 25mm lower than same time last year as of july1. Scary shit. He had 140mm last year zero harvest.
Wasnt meant to be a doom and gloom post.
And again i reinterate if i got average to below wrong for western canada wasnt being a smart arse. Just going by crop reports on here been salvaged to a degree.
