Just a heads up if you have not seen the watch’s currently in place in Alberta is all.

And if your at Calgary Stampede.... maybe take a hard hat ....
both weather network and environment Canada been on it for 12 hrs now for the set up .
It’s just some don’t look or pay attention to weather that close in holidays and or weekends.
Don’t need another Lac des Isles where nobody new what was about to happen till it was too late .

Had a good supercell go through between Crossfield and Carstairs last week, she was a looker! Supposed to do the same thing later today although I’m not sure it’ll look so good. Cloud ceiling is still low from the last couple rainy days.

Time will tell.

Hour north of Calgary.

It was muggy / misty early today and quite warm, suprised I havent heard any severe weather, looks to have just been a shower go through. We went out for a picnic and fishing day in the foothills and had a quick half hour thunder storm with some small hail but cleared out quick and sun came in behind. West country green as I've seen it in a long time, wild horses and range cows fat as can be.

I sure wish we had an accurate functioning radar station at Bethune, don't know if you should trust the accuracy of the tracking and systems approaching......in this day and age!!!!!!!! ......sigh! Bethune radar is a composite image. Maybe give some more money away to foreign interests instead of taking care of business at home.

We live in Disney Land with made up radar and all. Thanks Ralph for the great job you have done for four years handing money out all over the world but can’t fix a F$&king weather station.
