AF5, 35 years ago, how many police sent drunk drivers on their way if they were stopped and said they were going home. The whole culture of drinking and driving has changed dramatically, rightly and justifiably so! I cringe when I remember our behavior. And yes I was caught! Just so thankful I never harmed anyone.

The mindset has changed but there will still always be those who will risk it or have an alcohol/drug problem and just don't care. I guess if you have some and really pace yourself you may be within the legal limits and still be ok to drive, but in some cases be prepared to be grilled if your pulled over and law enforcement smells alcohol....I HOPE.

I still see beer cans/bottles in the ditches but I don't think as many.

My kids are alot smarter about drinking and driving than I ever was when I was young, mine just won't risk it.

Ban alcohol. It wouldn’t hurt my feelings as I don’t drink anymore.

But either way new laws that sound silly like this one are created because theres 0.0001% of people that abuse the current law. I don’t agree with the law in question but everyone is aware so best to abide by the rules.

That’s exactly what’s going on according to local police. And now the hard core drugs are taking hold of young kids because drugs is deemed acceptable.
That leads to a huge influx of crime to pay for the drugs ...... hence all the theft , which has gone rampant again ..... with hardly a word from media .. again ask any police officer from this area they all know this 100%
but a person can’t have a drink after you get home from driving in your own private property.... sorry something is seriously fuked up here .

Yup let’s arrest a person in their own home on private property up to 2 hrs after they get home from working a productive and contributing to society but sell vaps to children and encourage drug use , hand out free needles in “safe” areas to basically zombies but they can not be affected by this law .... are you fukin kidding me ????
