Cowboys now that is stereo type.
Most are pretty good people.
But have encountered wide range.

But the true cowboy has to either have cows .
Or horses they ride. For starters.

in the purest form they have to be able to buy a new truck, never vacuum the carpet or clean a windshield. Drop a round bale in the box and trash it in a year ,
and it does not bother them a bit.

That is a freedom , only true cowboys experience.

I am too poor,too anal, and do not care for country

Never make it as a cowboy even though I had cows for 25
Years.


There a a couple other types too .
The hobby cowboy .with new 1 tons and horse trailers.
300,000$ and 40 thou. Horses.
Some are farmers.
But mostly folks with money to burn.

Then the urban cowboy , gets to dress up, good dancer , no taste in music,
But gets the women.

Most western Canadians are urban and suburban dwellers, not cowboys wearing hats and boots.

Cowboys seem to have the most impractical outfits when you consider boots are for riding and most of them use quads instead of horses. Large hats are useless in a wind or fixing haying machinery. And the large belt buckles are literally a pain in the stomach when you bend over.

But many groups seems to like their dress up and pretend fashions.

It's funny, the only two groups who seem to think that wearing their "work/PPE" costumes all year long in public is appropriate are cowboys and bikers. I don't see doctors wearing their facemasks, white coats and stethescopes to a party, Divers don't wear their flippers and wet suits to a christmas event, painters generally take off their disposable white suits and masks when they go get groceries etc. But in the middle of winter, without a bike in sight, a biker still has to wear Harley branded everything, leather coat, bandana and boots. And the cowboy needs to wear the hat and buckle and boots and too tight wranglers on a holiday to a tropical island. I guess I'm not cut out to be a cowboy, all cows and no hat around this operation unfortunately.

Many of my friends and neighbors have cows and are great hardworking generous people. But very few of them wear a cowboy outfit.

My son likes his cowboy boots but not a cow or a horse on this farm in over 50 years. He wears them for work. They are slippery on ice and machinery and don't have steel toes. They are an expensive and poor choice for general farm work.

Society is so divided on every issue, impossible to get elected without compromising your values/ doing the right/ proper/ smart/ honest things! All we get is middle ground, rarely good legislation, laws. Absolutely the worst outcome will be Turdo minority, the evil left/ climate cult will kill Canada 😩

We need to be doing more votes on issues at the Ballat box like they do in the states. You want marijuana put it on a form and everyone vote on it. We re getting so complicated we re trying to decide if someone should be allowed to wear a turbin to work and at the same time deciding about pipeline and should a new road be built.
The social issues should be decided by the people and everyone should be able to vote. Too many trade offs and we re ending up with too much garbage sliding through just to get our big ticket item.
