Will the conservatives have the courage to make this a main issue? Or will they be afraid to lose seats Quebec.? If they win without talking about it will it be just like the pipelines will never be dealt with even with a majority?
We know what the liberals will do but they don’t even want to talk about it.

        Climate change cause?
Will there finally be an open discussion involving the main parties over if climate is changing if it is then is there a cause that we actually can do something about? Is carbon the problem? I m getting tired of being on the side of carbon is not the cause yet only kinda getting a wink from the conservatives yet we spent a billion on a failed carbon sequester what the he’ll for?
What is the estimated time left of the oil industry being a major factor?

        Immigration
Should we be discussing the social affect bringing in too many of different cultures? Too many of certain ones? Ones that were at war with? Our border those walking in what’s really happenning to them? Where do we draw the line? Is it right to be paying for this when there are so many in dire straits in our country? Many seniors are really living a poor lifestyle?

        Healthcare
Should seniors have their prescription drugs all covered? Should there be private and not?

        Agriculture
Where do we even start? We’ve lost so many markets what should rhe strategy be? Or do we just let the line companies and processors decide for us? Seed tax how do we get input?
Seed price period? Price fixing for inputs.
Levelling rhe risk within the industry?

        First Nations?

Will there ever be a frank and to the point discussion of everyone’s responsibility? An open look at rhe original treaties and how they were interpreted. Or will it be a race to pay out the most money and buy votes?

So far rhe biggest issues appear to be the Canada food guide and whether or not it’s bad that butts is back. I could give a rats ass about either of those. If butts is a loser let him come back right?
The left would call you a climate change denying, white-privileged racist for even asking such questions. This is why Canada is a failed country. Too many special interests. Have to sacrifice one area to appease another. Get out the axe and chop the country into 3 pieces.

Call me stupid but I think the bigger problem is there isn't anyone stepping forward with a vision of Canada that will unite us like the past....set Canada back on track to not only be a world leader but within its own borders as well...

Everyone likes to keep every group happy while forgetting someone along the way....a good leader will find a way to get all groups on side for the greater good of the country...

I know I bitch about things ....but think about the effort put into building Lake Diefenbaker....the pride of having the largest earth dam in the world for decades and the wealth that came along with it....

You don't see that kind of vision in politicians anymore...thinking decades out ...they only think to the next election....

          Its really disappointing...

The sum of it's parts are greater than the whole.
            Too Regional.
Mountains cut off BC, Canadian Sheild cuts off the east. Prairies stuck in the middle.
            Some areas feel unappreciated.
            Lack unity and common purpose/goal.
            Too much animosity.

BTW ...a bypass isn't a money maker ...its an expense....so is a stadium...and they will both be needing work in 30 years.....

Think about the bridges being replaced in regina now and then look at the number coming down the pipe....

They are thing of beauty if there was a city of 2 to 5 million people not a province of 1 million people..

The thing that disappoints me the most is that any political party that has been in power lately can not maintain what we have. The one that sticks out the most is our country wide infrastructure. Roads, bridges, sidewalks, ditches, railways, etc etc were once built on fresh ground. It seems impossible for any level of government to maintain what was built for them, everything is falling apart

Canada isn't alone regarding failing infrastructure, the USA and many other countries are facing the same situation! Way to much money being wasted by Righties , Lefties and Central Governments around the world.

We as farmers have to maintain and improve what we got, or we're no longer farming! It would be nice for Canada if there was a party leader of any of the parties that had vision to try to straighten out the wasting of so much money!

I don't care what the majority of you think but I personally feel Paul Martin was the last one who had any ability and business awareness who could have had a chance to fix Canada in a fiscal matter!

Bring back Martin and that what's his name.....that protestor choking Prime Minister, oh ya, Chretien.

I bet there's a couple past Liberal Prime Ministers that would like to choke the current one!

I concur with those statements...so the question becomes why is Trudeau handing out billions to other countries....essentially what is in it for Canadians...

The Ukrainian president came here and left with 45 million the other day while the ink had barely dried on the pulse deal between the Ukraine and China...

And then there is the 250 million to the Asia Infrastructure bank....

So in a round about way we are financing our own demise in the pulse industry....no one seems to be too aware of these things...
