Tweety's mindset is quite prevalent in the ag service industry.

First, I would say if you have such disdain for your customer find another business. You must hate life everyday if you have to deal with such "Sissy asses".

Second, don't forget without the patronage of such "sissy asses" you don't have a job or pay cheque.

Third, your comment shows how little you know about the real economics of Ag.

Fourth, If you believe farming is so wildly profitable, there is plenty of room on the gravy train. Go lease some land, buy some equipment and let the money roll.

But you would have to grow a pair yourself.

Tweety sounds like my exes lawyer.

      I'll sell him my farm.

But ya, I'm not looking for a handout either.

again , fire up a calculator, its not that hard , FFS
most inputs went up about 10-20% though, maybe you're confused with that???
but i am ok also, no ****ing whining here, watching intently while the parasites get laid off because farmers shut the tap off.
basf crying like little babies , not enough canola and fungicide sales to buy new truck fleet for leaches
sounds like you're one of them?

I only have disdain for that constant ****ing whining. Shut the **** up, it makes you look pathetic unfortunately along with all of us real farmers who have our shit together - which is pretty much everyone. Do you really think its going to help your situation by constantly typing why you think you are entitled to a welfare payment?

Now stop it, talk about solutions instead to your problems like real business people and farmers do. Your whining is useless and makes you look silly.

Oh and just because a farmer says stop your ****ing whining doesn't mean that they aren't right away a farmer. Its just a farmer who is embarrassed that you are a farmer.

So Tweety you have me mixed up with someone else. I have never advocated for an acreage payment or ad hoc payment of any kind. I dont come on here and whine. But when someone says the price of Canola has been the same over the last 10 months, it shows me you have no clue about the price of Canola or the economics of farming.

All I can say if you do farm, I am glad for your sake Daddy hasn't given up control yet. You still need to learn your numbers.

              Interesting comments ...

The very guys that had Gerry Ritz'sear when trying to set up the unicorn type open market were, in fact, the same guys in front of the parliamentary ag committee saying how the canola market was impacting their farm...

While some are doing great there are more that are not .... guys get hit by a black Swan event like ILTA grain...or a hailstorm. ..or 3 years of drought....or trade issues....while the answer may be to get out of the industry so that the rest can continue on the profitable way....what happens when it happens to you......are you ready to pack it in for circumstances out of your control?

Because I see many industries that don't have to pack it in and rely on government help and are still paying dividends to shareholders....

Why would agriculture be any different...

For instance I didn't see government taking shares of Morris industries with another government payment/handout. ..nor do I see their equipment prices being lowered...

Or evraz who received 40 million ...no shares to the government just handouts ....

Maybe these two are the bombardier of the prairies....

What is frustrating is the governments line about helping producers ...or staying on the cutting edge of technology.....it's a bullshit line. ...

That’s a pretty poor statement coming from the department of ag. You might not get your bonus when the shit starts flowing back to the minister.

The solution is since there is no long term plan to fix the programs which are beyond shit then there is no reason what so ever we shouldn’t be in line with every other country. Even the Indians and Pakistanis hosed us to prop up their farmers. We re rhe only country not doing it.

Macron threw a tarriff on US tech companies yesterday and not even 24 hrs later Trump has a retilliatory tarrif ready to go. Now thats leadership. Trudeau is still looking for which bathroom to use.

Weak, pathetic and divided is what canada is and tweety exemplifies that for sure. Farmers arlready take on the weather, the markets, poor policy but now we have to tighten our belt for political incompentence of our own clown show govt. Nope, not going to happen. Hope tweety likes seeing more people leave the land because thats exactly what will happen unless canada gets it sht together.

Canada’s economy could shrink by 0.4 per cent and economic welfare will decline by more than US$10 billion

What's worse is arguing with guys that say they are successful. ....by their own standard....but how many could fill a boat on their own to the export market????

Or do they just drive a few miles to the local crusher. ...or feedlot...

It's always interesting to hear how successful guys are....until they aren't. ....

Not saying there shouldn’t be a payment, but be careful comparing to USA farmers. Check out what they pay for land, property tax, medical care. Apples to apples is tough, and everything received gets built into the price of farmland.

The pric3 for their commodities is the same except for the additional funding to make them whole on what their government has done to the market...

Lets also compare their market info...weekly sales reports , crop tours , etc...

And they also have regulators with teeth....when called in front of the STB , railways there don't snub them....

They have problems south of the boarder in farm country also.

But at least the gov is looking out and trying to help.

In Canada we get a F&&king loan that most farmers can’t get much money out of any way.

It’s all a PR ploy to make the liberal followers think Trudeau actually is on top of things.

Plus also piss the city people off and hate farmers.

Trudeau screwed up our canola and pea markets and did nothing about it.

We are a shit hole country.
