And you can’t enjoy that benefit unless you sell out. Hooray this is so *** easy this farming.
Now let’s see what country can I buy my steak from?
Yup and livestock are immune to baseball sized hail and lots of it with 80km winds .... I never new how tough they were lol

Ag in Canada is a joke. Any young or old farmer who thinks it’s so easy and we have support from our governments is smoking Trudeau dope.

We were played with this bullshit the market will work things out.

Trudeau and crew screwed farmers on the canola and pea and lentil file. Durum well I would say our farm groups f$&ked that up.

Farmers wake up your being played by companies that want a guaranteed income to sell you shit

Whenever I hear talk of how easy farming is I think of this video. Breaks me up every time I see it.

It is remarkable there is a crop here at all.

The reason: June 20th and 22nd. 2.24 inches of rain in that time. July 17-19 measured 6 tenths.
Every other shower this year has been a quarter inch or less. At about 5 inches counting everything down to a trace. Small showers here and there mean no 2 fields have received the same amount. No hail.

As others will attest getting the first good germinating rain the third week in June is not ideal.
A fair crop coming if we can escape the frost. Not enough there to call it good

Well moving anywhere is probably an option because Canada is about to enter a generational death spiral with skippy at the helm, and likely re elected. Sure didnt take long to destroy a country.

Another half inch last night. Hay 2019 a total bust. Animals will starve this winter. 20 inches of rain in two months and still have to buy hay from somewhere else. Fortunately I don't have much livestock but am sorry for the cattle guys. A flood is worse than drought. Hay field full of standing water.
