More like ...we are so screwed . F.... Trudeau....

Why blame Trump? Trudeau has plenty of resources that he has spent around the world...

Not arguing.....and not condoning or supporting Trump....but Canada isn't his concern....But it is Trudeau's and he is ignoring Canada and more specifically western Canada which use to be an economic driver...

But sitting idly by is Trudeau's incompetence....

Leadership means you find ways around complications and engineer a new solution....

Trudeau isn't capable of doing jackshit...he can't even think on his own....FFS...

Other than to do the easy thing and blame Trump...

When a man tears up on cue like JT, then says the budget will balance itself, it wouldn't be a huge leap to say he has more credits in drama classes than economics, not a particularly strong set of credentials for an applicant applying for the CEO of a country, but as I've said before, millions, who have never owned or operated a business will rehire him and that is why the stock price of Canada is trending down. Employee's of companies whose CEO is running the business into the ground eventually just leave and go elsewhere.

It's MAGA, not MCGA. Trudeau is actually doing the exact opposite of Trump - trying to make everywhere else a better place and telling Canada to **** off. Chew on the Liberal shit that you voted for. Trump does not and should not give two shits what happens in Canada. 36 mill vs. 330 mill - as if we even ****ing matter. #FailedState

It's prime time we appoint an ambassador to China and make shit happen. One of our ****tards must know there's an opening here, Maccallum says it'll fix itself because canada is in China for the long haul. Easy to sit at the top of the bleachers and scream shit. Make something happen Ottawa if you have an ounce of credibility. We need leaders that get shit done.

Keep in mind that when your economy is almost completely self contained, and foreign trade is by far the lowest as a percentage of GDP, of any even slightly industrialized nation, losing the trade war is still a win relative to every other belligerent. China has the exact opposite problem, and there really is no scenario by which they come out ahead.

China is playing the long game. They do not uphold to rules of capitalism and they can outlast Trump’s presidency however long it takes. Trump can’t outlast communist China. China will cut their standard of living, change their diets, do whatever it takes.

The only thing that will get the president’s attention attention is the sudden fallout in the U.S. stock market. Global economies are now heading for a serious recession, if not a depression. Today’s added tariffs just hurries this pathway along (IMO).

And if you think that the retrenchment of US foreign policy on all fronts will be unique to Trump, then I recommend you revisit the platforms of all the leading candidates last time around.

One can admire the Chinese for putting their pride ahead of their economic interests, but waiting out Trump is not going to be a winning strategy.
