          Those long slender things are the pods.
          Pulled up to the field and it smelled like the truck had an antifreeze leak, strange smelling crop.
          18 inches tall.

          Still can't post more pictures

              Possibly yellow sweet clover. Is it nodulating yet? Is it a volunteer plant presenting as a weed in a canola field? Similar size seed to canola could just be contaminated with the clover me thinks or seeds brought in with bales

                The aphid in the second photo could be a clue to identifying the plant and the antifreeze smell

                    I have two sets of pictures. The first two(already posted) are from a while back. The next three(If I can get them uploaded)are from yesterday and that is when I noticed the distinct odor.

                    If that is indeed an aphid....good eye!

                              The smell statement was a give away. Saw a field of it up close once and that was something that stuck out the most.
