Trump pisses away US $866 Billion in last 10 months

I think this post is a good followup to Saskfarmer lastest anti Trudeau rant about his funding of millions to ag tech. The US deficit was $866 Billion over just the last 10 months. For all of you who think Trump is a good businessman and think Canada should be following his economic lead, the facts are much different than his rhetoric about the economy!

And Obama put 8 trillion on the countrys credit card and had nothing to show for it. Trump has spent a fraction of that and put the economy into overdrive.

As for Canada, we spent $100B in debt and lost a full point in our GDP. $20B given directly to 3rd world dictators and failing 3rd world countries.

I would say trump spending had huge bang for the buck.

There isn't a fiscal conservative to be found anywhere in politics, regardless of which political affiliation they claim to have, which is a shame.

But, there is no comparison between Canada's ability to run uncontrolled deficits, and the US's ability. The US, now more than ever has the ability to make the worst possible financial decisions (and they seem determined to prove it) create unsustainable debt or social programs, and still have the entire world flocking to own their currency, debts and any assets denominated in USD at the expense of all others.

If we are going to run nutso deficits and no politician can resist, then I deman it be spent on Canadian soil and to further our entire economy while taking care of neglected groups. And no LBGT is not a neglected group compared to our veterans.

It really is an interesting situation. Imagine you go to school and there is 15 foot tall double black belt body builder. Every day he asks for your lunch or coat or shoes, but he always says I’ll pay you eventually, but for now just put it on my tab. When would it eventually stop? Would there ever be a day of reckoning. I suppose at some point, but don’t underestimate the US’s military mights inluence (intentional or not) in their fiscal policy.

The US is like that big dog walking calmly down the street with a bunch of yappy poodles around it. its got the poodle of the Middle East cause Great Satan. Its got the poodle of socialism (Russia, China, SA) and its got the poodle of the champaign crowd (Canada, EU). You know with one bite it could end them but they dont stop.
