We are in the throws of the development of the "New World Disorder"

This may not have been the best tread to use that cliche in but things are definitely re-aligning.

What are things going to look like in one or two decades ftom now, if it even takes that long.

Complacency is the enemy of progress. Hope it isn't too late for Canada.

There is no future vision in this ****en country, only selfish narcissistic groups. I think I did my part to create wealth and value for Canada, paying taxes to boot, raising a "family", etc. Let's get back to nation building before what bucket calls Canada being relegated to be seated at the children's table.

We need to regain the respect on the international stage, and not by buying it by giving GOBS of taxpayer money away, by some simple goon detached from reality, to useless causes and chronically troubled nations.

I wouldn’t worry about this at all.

Putin is playing the communist leader that he really is which means the government controls everything. He sees value in the grain and food industry and he can’t stand some foreign traders making any money off Russian production.

So why not create a Russian Wheat Board. The fact is, without private capital, these institutions always fail because people who are controlled and not free make bad decisions and are inefficient. I laugh when they think that 25% private capital will be part of their plan. No one with money will invest in that screwed up country.

Free enterprise and Reagan broke the old Soviet Union and they have been trying to find the light switch ever since.

Our empathy and our bleeding hearts have let China get away with everything. Rip off our technology, imitate our products, make poor quality, hollow out our industry in our own country, and then dump crap products into our own country and we make them rich.

I do worry about how stupid we are. The free world needs to wake up, buck up and grow a pair and forget China as a buyer or Supplier, and out trade and out compete Russia and China at every corner. There is lots of World out there to do business with than these two losers countries.

Free men and women and private capital and a country of law and order and respect for human rights will out perform any despot stealing from us and trying to eat our lunch.

Because Canadian farmers and agriculture went totally broke and disappeared with the CWB?

Regardless of wether someone thinks hate for communism is well or miss-placed, Russia managed to many things we haven't been able to - and not for lack of capability.

They built an export system. They built a rail system. They increased spending in public breeding, they built LNG terminals.

And today, they have the fifth largest gold reserves.

Meanwhile our infrastructure is falling apart; we can't build anything because of infighting and politics and false news; our society and our values are crumbling; we've talked about LNG for a decade and haven't done anything; we've handed all varietal development to private companies that will charge every last cent out of us; we sold off every last ounce of gold from the treasury.

If I had to bet on which country will be here 50 years from now, I'd say Russia.

You can't build anything here anymore without government money. Pea plant an hour away from here is all government funded - owned by a private company. I'll bet money 10 years from now they'll fold, or complain of not having any profit and the government will "forgive" their loan.

                    Never underestimate your competitors.

They almost dictate prices now, will having a RWB give them more or less power who knows.

It doesn't matter as long as the customer doesn't have to deal with a country like Canada that thinks they can dictate morals around the world....

Just sell the grain to them ...the rest isn't our business....the customer is always right....even if its wrong...

Trudeau isn't helping western canadian farmers at home or abroad....whereas Russia is just happy selling grain....if it doesn't meet spec they will just sell them more...

Trudope will be done in 2019 or 2023, people will come to their senses here sooner or later. 15 years from now it will be a bad memory, and things that need to be done to keep prospering will be done.

                        GDP per Capita: 2018:

                        China. $9K
                        Russia. $10K

                        USA. $65K
                        CANADA. $45K
                        Germany. $45K
                        England. $40K

I will bet on freedom and democracy any day over a controlled economy. They will never catch us if we don’t let them. It’s ours to loose.

In Russia and China the decision makers all end up dead sooner or later...and not of natural cause...just a matter of when.

I Don’t know of that happening in our free democracy.

Russian farmers under dictator Putin don't have a chance as all their profit goes to Putin's Oligarchs buddies.
What incentive is there to work hard or innovate, Canadian farmers will out last and out perform them.

                          Corrupt systems never last!

You are delusional to think we will outlast anyone with the damage done under this liberal government
Farmers in Libya will have a better chance if things don’t change here ASAP
