....better off without them. The vast amounts of money made and stolen by China from the United States, year after year, for decades, will and must STOP. Our great American companies are hereby ordered to immediately start looking for an alternative to China, including bringing..

For all of the Fake News Reporters that don’t have a clue as to what the law is relative to Presidential powers, China, etc., try looking at the Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977. Case closed!

Trump is a capitalist, he is not going to dictate any company to do anything, he simply put them on notice that he is dealing with a corrupt rogue communist power and economics may become second fiddle if he has to lower the boom on china. Its a friendly reminder to treasonous companies selling out Americas interests.

Turn off Rachel maddow and think a bit. Kim is china controlled. By doing a détente with Kim, Trump weakens china.

Russia is acting out of self interest trying to shore up vulnerable territory. They want to align with the west but alarmists wont let them so they have to do extreme stuff to get noticed. Good thing trump got in because if it was Hillary we would be WW3 by now.

This is one issue I think the current Government got absolutely right. Listen to Freeland's explanation of why Canada (and the rest of the G7) oppose Russia being reinstated to the group.

Well if Iran can come in the back door to a G7 meeting why not Russia? What would freeland know. She is a jumped up journalist to foreign affairs minister who never travels anywhere.

You forget about that little inconvenient item of the EU amassing military against Russia right on their border and creating their own military. Sounds like something that might perturb them.

You've got a choice of 2 careers when you quit trolling Agriville with your pro Trump/pro USA agenda Jazz - not sure which suits you best a comedian or a writer of fairy stories?

Iran was invited to a side meeting of the G7 to try and repair the damage done by Donny dumbass. They were complying with their commitments under their Nuclear deal until Orange decided to tear up said agreement which has led to an escalation of tensions and Iran threatening to violate the conditions they had previously agreed to.

Iran is not part of the G7 so don't pretend for a minute that is anything like the same as Russia being allowed back in to participate in the Group of 8 as it was previously called before they annexed Crimea and invaded the Ukraine. Perhaps if Russia had come to the side door of the G7 summit prepared to discuss the steps they would have to take before being allowed to rejoin the G7 (getting out of Crimea/Ukraine) then it would have been a similar situation to Iran.

Freeland may have started out as a journalist but she has clearly forgotten more about international affairs, particularly with regard to Russia and the Ukraine, than you'll ever know. Aside from which she was named by Forbes magazine in April as 37th in the list of the world's leading leaders. Probably the only minister of the Trudeau government to have made any kind of positive mark on the world stage.

We actually have farmers on Agriville defending the disaster we have for a foreign affairs staff?

I guess Trudeau has a few supporters on Agriville even though they will never admit it.

Exactly,,, Russia took back Crimea, right out from under the EU's noses,,, and they didn't do a ****ing thing because they'd rather have Russian natural gas flowing into their homes than have windmills surrounding all their cities and towns, and solar panels on all their roofs. They had to know, Obama wouldn't do anything to stop Russia. And for Obama,,, that was just another red line, where he showed his weak leadership.

So grass, now you are defending Iran? Seriously. Poor poor iran, you know the ones who fund hamas and Hezbollah to the tune of millions. Those poor souls? Oh I am sorry they are much better than Putin. Stalwarts of civilization in fact.

Sorry for insulting the Minister For Too Tight Dresses. I had no idea she was so accomplished.

Here she is in her business attire and team of millennials heading off to negotiate a trillion dollar nafta deal. She was totally the right pick for that.

Its a total testament to Trumps sympathy and compassion that he didn't destroy Canada with a stroke of a pen.
