    Where is this surplus ???

Elevators are empty , can’t find any grain , wheat or canola .
This fake surplus is based on exaggerated yields from last year , guess what ... it’s not there

What’s the cash advance on than?
    New crop?
Why are they allowing 2018 advance to be rolled over to 2019?
Things that are rolling through my head

I did once. CCGA came out and inspected my bins to make sure the backing for the advance was there. Don't know if I popped up in an audit or something

Wheat is $5.80 and Canola is $9.24. Not too much incentive.

1.8054 mmt producer deliveries till Aug 18. Coming from somewhere....

If they are as backed up administrating as advertised than I imagine the audit people are as well.

              Interesting times we live in.

Must be a big surplus locally. Canola price dropped 50 cents in the past 2 days. And feed wheat and feed barley went to no bid at one elevator lately.

                  Let the Games Continue.

I had a good winter of marketing and got out early and took advantage of reasonable prices on Canola and Wheat. But the number one 13 is easy to move. Then the shit show of 2019 started, and we are still two weeks away on canola. Wheat some will die today and this week but the last 7 are next weeks. Barley will make it. Peas are ready to harvest once the rain stops.

                  So Grain on Hand HAHAHAHAHA

Not many let's say who the **** wouldn't have sold at seven-plus wheat and 11 canola and if you had barley really wtf were you waiting for 6. Peas suck, but you have to move something, and the ****ers know that so they are dropping prices every day.

Yes, the bins are empty in western Canada, and that was the biggest game played by the gov stats can department.

Its all about the money and the grain companies getting the most out of every bushel you produce.

Devils advocate here. Other times on here and other forums, many guys have stated they never sell all old crop supplies and carry lots over.

Now no one admits this? Just asking? Don’t mean to sound callous, but most guys I know certainly carry over some crop???

You always keep enough to seed one or two more crops...

You think there's that many? We certainly don't, except for seed and the last 5-10 tonnes that's not worth making a trip to the elevator for.

I did have a random conversation at a gas station this spring with a guy from the peace region who said he hadn't sold any 2018 canola cause he was holding on for, $12, I think?... I wonder where he's at now.

If and that’s a big if , there is that much grain and oilseeds on farm why are bin sales virtually non existent for this new crop ? Something does not add up at all

Just when the price is shit it goes lower.
Off the combine last fall we had move 3 semis at 10.50..
                              Thought price was a joke..
So is 9.50 a good one this fall?
