    February 2020 Buget

If the liberals win with a minority and helped by a grinning Liz and a proud Jagmeet they will retain power for another, what will seem like 9 years, their first budget will run a monstrous deficit.

Having one socialist government writing checks on the taxpayers bank account is one thing, but having 2 more requesting and getting their financial wants and needs met, will be unbearable for the dwindling account.

Enter Bill Morneau, our savior will introduce a inheritance tax of 2% for each of the socialist party involved, to spend how ever they want, hopefully spent in Canada on infrastructure or health care. But from what we've seen in the past 4 years it will be more embarrassment x 3.

I just want a normal honest government that keeps a low profile at home while doing the day to day business it's elected to do while behaving in a statesman like manner when traveling on the world stage.
Is that too much to ask for?

For all those who are considering voting liberal, at what point will you say enough, I can't keep paying more tax, because deficits are deferred taxes. Socialism left unchecked will eventually take it all. But before that happens, save enough money to buy some white cardboard, a jiffy marker, a stick and a bottle of rum because that is usually the last thing they take.

I think capital gains will be the target. There arent enough wealthy people in the country for an inheritence tax but there have been lots of people who rode the housing and land boom. There is no more employment income to tax. Whatever they go after, it will be nasty.
