What is the conservative's position on primary producers????

    I can't find it anywhere...anyone know...

I can't vote Liberal...or NDP or green..maybe PPC.....But I would like to know what my vote is worth as a primary producer.

Or is more of the same as every other party ...some supply vaseline....most don't.

My guess is we still get bent over...

Unfortunately, I dont think it will matter. As we get closer to the election I can see that Trudeau will ramp up the ad campaigns and sheer will be done. The east will get Trudeau back in, and the ndp and green party are most likely hoping for a minority because then they have say in policy decisions! I've been saying it for a while now. Scheer is an idiot and he will screw this all up. He has no personality, and that alone doesn't keep him in people's minds. Whoever is running Trudeau behind the scenes must be an absolute genius. They have managed to fool an entire country into thinking he is competent and actually running things in Canada.

This would be a good time to mandate a 5% biodiesel standard across the country. Manitoba Conservative Party has recently mentioned doing this if re-elected.

It will increase demand for canola by over 1MMT apparently.....and the enviro-looks can feel good that they are saving the rain forest and city of Edmonton by driving their diesel.

Come on Bucket, you are not supposed to ask what the Conservative Platform on Agriculture is. Isn't it enough to vote against Trudeau.

Why are you trying to find out Sheer's vision for agriculture and Canada. Talk about heresy. I mean if everyone thought like you and voted for party with best plan for the future, parties would have to actually make a plan instead of attack ads and memes. And then what kind of democracy would that be?

Agreed, but that may just be the plan by the puppetmaster! No sense being in power in times of tough choices and hard times wait long enough that things are turning around then put a good effort in and take all the credit!

If I had one political wish it would be for farmers to pick one riding out here federal and provincial and not vote conservative or sask party unless we get some answers to what the plan is. Because as it is they won’t be much better ag wise. Aside from taking the carbon tax away but I bet they impose one of their own would it be any better if it had a diffeeent name. How does rhe pst feel its partially paying for the carbon sequester thing oh wait they don’t believe carbon is rhe problem????

Wonder if they will get their heads out of their asses and realize there is deep shit coming in ag
All these provinces need to tell trudeau and keebek that the free ride is over

On the Financial Post website there is an article "Canada seen poised to lead world in food production if we can seize fourth agricultural revolution." Not sure about this naysaying, according to this article we are farting through silk! Great disconnect between primary producers and those farther up the food chain including government!
