The company says this will provide farmer customers with increased access to more competitive offerings in grain trading, handling and merchandising, as well as full-range crop input products backed by leading agronomic solutions.
Just another blow to the Ag sector.
Just watch the input prices rise to pay for the acquisition. They will provide farmers only with one thing ..... a bigger bill.
Guess we will all be getting a no 1 for all grains delivered as they will be more competitive now .... ya good one!!

Is there a competition bureau in Canada. ..

I deliver to P&H and VT on the west side. It isn't all bad, but this industry is falling into tighter hands, which isn't good imo. It's a shrinking oligopoly, call it what it is.Last edited by macdon02; Sep 5, 2019, 19:44.

G3 is expanding quick and GrainsConnect is a new player.
Both have new ports under construction.
Might be losing a company but there’s still new elevators popping up like volunteer canola to give producers options.
All in the same areas of course. They do seem to like to build all within 10 miles of each other.
